It is with great excitement that I formally advise both the members of the Boroondara Lions FC and the Templestowe Eagles SC that our respective clubs have decided to merge. The club will now be known as the Boroondara Eagles FC, will play out of Macleay Park in North Balwyn and the playing strip will be White and Purple. The junior uniforms will remain the same. The Boroondara Eagles FC name ensures that history and identity of both clubs is retained within the merger.
